The wines of Spring Mountain

Atlas Peak, Napa Valley, Spring Mountain District, Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 In the nose there is caramel and tobacco with red raspberries and vanilla.  In the mouth this wine is quite youthful, with significant grip and acidity. Produced and bottled in Napa 14.5% $85 at the winery, a gift to the class from the SFCWC Atlas Peak

VinNostro Cellars, Napa Valley, Spring Mountain, Nicolo Reserve, Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 The nose smells of brambles and the forest floor with a sense of stewed red fruits. In the mouth it is tart and light-bodied. Bottled by Waugh Wines – Napa Valley 14% $35 at the winery, since sold out, a gift to the class from the SFCWC VinNostro Cellars
