Navarro Edelzwicker 2008

Navarro Vineyards, Mendocino Table Wine, Edelzwicker 2008 The flowers are vibrant when you smell this wine – really delightful. In the mouth the fruit combines nicely with the sweetness. You’ll also pick up a sense of the Gewurz and its traditional bitterness and Riesling’s acidity working behind the scenes.

The grapes behind this Alsatian-style blend are 42% Gewurztraminer, 32% Riesling, 26% Pinot Gris and 2% Muscat. RS is 16 grams per litre. P&B in Philo 13.3% $13 at the winery and a gift to the class from the SFCWC Navarro
