Six Sigma Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Six Sigma, Lake County, Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 There’s a freshness to this Cabernet that focuses on blueberries and cherries, with the intensity of black currants fashioned into Cassis. The fruit is so available that you might suspect that this wine is younger than the vintage indicates. The structure is on the softer side making this Cabernet immediately accessible, with light body and lingering sweet fruit – nice.

Winemaker Matt HughesIn addition to the Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% of the grapes are Cabernet Franc, 6% are Petit Verdot and 5% are Merlot. The wine was aged in new French oak for 18 months.
