MacMurray Ranch Pinots 2007

MacMurray Ranch, Central Coast, Pinot Noir 2007 Give this wine a good 20 minutes of air and the perfume will come through in the nose, with candied fruit and floral notes. In the mouth this light-bodied wine has refreshing acidity with a nice glaze of sweet caramel. A large portion of the fruit is sourced from Monterey’s Santa Lucia Highlands. Winemaker Susan Doyle. P&B in Healdsburg 13.5% $23 suggested retail

MacMurray Ranch, Sonoma Coast, Pinot Noir 2007 In the nose is a fair amount of gaminess for those who want a walk on the wilder side of the ranch. This is complemented by brown spices and baked cherry pie. In the mouth the wine is light-bodied and meaty, reminiscent of some of the more appropriately bretty Burgundys that we all enjoy. The wine was aged in a combination of new and used oak, French, American and Eastern European for about 6 months. Winemaker Susan Doyle. P&B in Healdsburg 13.5% $28 suggested retail
