Chambolle Musigny 2006

Domaine Anne Gros, Chambolle-Musigny, La Combe d’Orveau 2006

The nose is sweet and toasty. The mouth features concentrated cherry fruit with a bit of earthiness, a supple texture and lots of acidity to carry this wine a long, long way. This domaine is a personal favorite of mine. Mis a Vosne-Romanee par Anne Gros, Proprietaire-viticulteur 13% $62.99 at the Wine Club Domaine Anne Gros

Domaine Dujac, Chambolle-Musigny 2006 There’s meatiness and warmth in the nose as well as the sweetness of new oak. The mouth exudes sweetness as well as concentration, the suppleness of Chambolle and the ripe characterization of Dujac. This is a show stopper – delicious now yet certainly ageworthy. Owner/Winemaker Jacques Seysses and family. Mis au domaine in Morey Saint-Denis 13% $92.99 at the Wine Club Dujac
