Ceago Muscat 2009

Ceago Vinegarden, Clear Lake, Del Lago, Estate Grown, Muscat Canelli 2009 The nose features fresh flowers, especially if you give it 15 minutes in the glass to open up – then you’ll find an explosion of orange blossoms and a true sense of Moscato d’Asti. In the mouth it is sweet and citrussy, light-bodied and refreshing – just great for the upcoming summer.

The grapes behind this wine are all grown biodynamically in between the towns of Nice and Lucerne on the north shore of Clear Lake. Proprietor Jim Fetzer. 21.8 degrees brix at harvest 8% alcohol, produced and bottled in Hopland $34 for a full bottle at the Blue Wing Ceago Vinegarden
