Honig Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Honig, Napa Valley, Sauvignon Blanc 2009 Over the years this has been my go-to Honig Sauvignon Blanc 2009Sauvignon for events with groups visiting California. The wine speaks of citrus with refreshing acidity while at the same time not having the overwhelming austerity of some on the block.

The’09 is on form as usual and is bottled under a synthetic cork so there’s no risk of taint.

Winemaker Kristin Belair. Produced and bottled in Rutherford, 13.5% alcohol, purchased during a visit to the winery where it is available for $16.

Visit their website which is sure to delight while providing a window into some of the best practices in sustainability in the wine industry:  Honig Vineyard & Winery
