Emblem Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Emblem, Napa Valley, Rutherford, Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 The sense of Cassis leaps out of the glass when you pour this wine – the fruit character ripe and concentrated. In the mouth the concentration of fruit continues, on a structured frame. The wine is a little chewy and like with the Oso Vineyard Cabernet, the acidity carries the flavor a long way – very nice.

The grapes, all Cabernet Sauvignon, were sourced from a vineyard planted on the alluvial fan of the Vaca Range. The wine was aged in French oak for 22 months.
