Toulouse Pinot Noir 2007

Toulouse Vineyards, Anderson Valley, Estate, Pinot Noir 2007 In the nose there is a sense of the forest floor and toasty, smoky oak. In the mouth it shows as an elegant style of Pinot Noir, very supple and approachable. We tasted a few weekends ago at the winery and a new bottle tonight in San Francisco with the UC class.

The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak. Estate grown, produced and bottled in Philo 14.8% purchased recently at the winery where it was selling for $42, though it may now be sold out.
