Swanson Pinot Grigio 2008

Swanson, Napa Valley, Pinot Grigio 2008 The nose features a mix of citrus and tropical fruits with a bit of green herbs. In the mouth it is fresh and fruity, showing the essence of orange and grapefruit with ample acidity – nice.

The grapes behind this wine are babied to give peak performance in the bottle. Pam Bond, who manages the vineyards at Swanson, described the Pinot Grigio vines as her ‘high maintenance girls’, receiving lots of attention over the course of their annual life in the Valley.
