Red Wine Stars of the Rhone

Coudoulet de Beaucastel, Cotes-du-Rhone Rouge, 2007 The fruit has both a fresh and dried character, combining cherries, plums and raisins. In the mouth it has an elegant profile, the structure is apparent yet restrained, not dominating the flavors – very nice. The grapes are sourced from the Coudoulet vineyard, grown organically and include about 30% Mourvedre, 30% Grenache, 20% Cinsault and 20% Syrah. Mis par Ste. Fermiere des Vignobles Pierre Perrin in Courthezon 14.5% $27.99 at Bottle Barn Chateau de Beaucastel

Chateau La Nerthe, Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2005

Unfortunately this wine is corked. The grapes behind this wine are mostly Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah and Cinsault. Mis en bouteille a Chateauneuf-du-Pape 14% purchased for $34.99 at Bottle Barn
