Pinot Noir Rose 2009

Domaine Charles Audoin, Marsannay Rose 2009 The nose features stone fruits and minerality, with a bit of earthiness and a whiff of a dairy note.

In the mouth there is an austerity and a bit of warmth and grip. Drink this up during the summer. Recolte et mis en bouteile a Marsannay-la-Cote 13% purchased for $15.99 at Bottle Barn

Lynmar, Russian River Valley, Rose of Pinot Noir 2009 The freshness of the fruit is delightful when you put your nose in this glass, redolent of strawberries and sweet flowers. The freshness comes through on the palate as well, with ample acidity to make this a food-friendly rose and a creaminess that adds depth – nice. The wine was aged in neutral oak and stainless. Winemaker Hugh Chappelle. P&B in Sebastopol 14.3% purchased for $16.99 at Bottle Barn Lynmar
