Cynthus Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

Cynthus, Napa Valley, Stagecoach Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 The nose features Cassis, bay leaves and the sweetness of oak, expressed as vanilla and caramel. Give this some time to open up; with 30 minutes more black fruits emerge. On the palate the oak adds richness to the profile and the structure is apparent yet ripe, with the tannins fully developed – nice.

The grapes were sourced from a vineyard that has gained much renown, perched above the Napa Valley floor at over 1500 feet in elevation. The wine was aged in French oak for 30 months. Winemaker Kerry Damskey 390 cases produced. Vinted and bottled in Graton 14.4% a media sample
