JC Cellars Petite Syrah 2005

JC Cellars, Napa Valley, Frediani Vineyard, Petite Syrah 2005 The nose is spiritous yet in the mouth the fruit is liqueur-like. The expected tannic profile of Petite is there along with a sense of the alcohol. The cool thing is the added richness, a viscous extract filling out the wine on the palate. The vines behind this wine range from 80 to more than 100 years in age. Winegrower Al Frediani. Winemaker Jeff Cohn. P&B in Oakland 15.0% purchased for $35.99 at Bottle Barn JC Cellars
