Prager Noble Companion Tawny Port

Prager, Napa Valley, Noble Companion, Tawny Port You’ll find golden raisins, dates, nuttiness and a sense of the spirit in the nose – but more than that. The fruit character is citrussy, like oranges stuck with cloves and drizzled with brandy in preparation for a cafe diablo.

In the mouth there is chocolate, even more so, a sense of a tootsie roll dunked in Cognac – delicious and a class favorite! The grapes were Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine was aged in small oak barrels for almost 10 years and the bottled in 2006. P&B in St. Helena 20% $45.99 at Bottle Barn Prager
