Robert Sinskey POV 2006

Robert Sinskey Vineyards, Napa Valley, POV, Red Wine 2006 This wine features a bevy of fresh blueberries and a complementary dusting of oak; it’s light-bodied with ripe tannins and a healthy acidity to encourage consumtion with a roasted pork tenderloin, sauced with fresh berries in a red wine reduction. I’m getting hungry thinking about this. Produced from organically grown Merlot, Cab Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon from one of California’s leaders in this movement. The wine spent 18 months in French oak, 30% of which was new. GP&B in Napa 13.9% $38 at the winery and a gift from a friend at Sinskey Robert Sinskey
