Pride Cabernet 2006

Pride Mountain Vineyards, Napa Sonoma, Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

In the nose there is a sense of Bordeaux, with cigar box and sweet pipe tobacco to augment the black fruit. In the mouth you find plenty of structure in a ripe way, tannic but not green, approachable now but sure to benefit from 6 or more years in the cellar – very nice. This is sourced from their estate on the county line(s). Thus the grapes are 70% Napa and 30% Sonoma. Winemaker Bob Foley. Cellared & Bottled in St. Helena 14.8% $66 at Traverso’s Pride
