Flora Springs Trilogy 2001

Flora Springs, Napa Valley, Trilogy 2001 There is a medley of brown spices in the nose and a supple, now is the time to drink this, profile in the mouth. There’s complexity and the acidic frame carrying on – nice. Tasted one year later in November ’09 this wine is still riding the top of the crest, showing no sign of going over to the downhill side. The grapes are 50% Cabernet, 30% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. P&B in St. Helena 14.1% alcohol. At one time this was $49.95 at K&L while the current release ’05 is $65 at the winery Flora Springs Winery & Vineyards
