Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Williams Selyem, Sonoma Coast, Pinot Noir 2006 There’s a sweet medley of cherry, berry and vanilla notes in the nose. In the mouth the wine is pure elegance. I consistently see this thread in Bob Cabral’s wines, what the French often look for in expressing Pinot character without amping it up over the top – beautiful wine. Winemaker Bob Cabral. P&B in Healdsburg 14.2% $65 at Traverso’s though probably will be gone soon. Williams Selyem

Flowers, Sonoma Coast, Pinot Noir 2006 Cola and minerality dominate the nose. There is  warmth and cherry cola in the mouth with a fine layer of tannin. P&B in Cazadero 13.8% $48.99 at Bottle Barn Flowers Winery

Tandem, Sonoma Coast, Sangiacomo Vineyards, Pinot Noir 2005 There are candied and cooked cherries in the nose and the mouth, where suppleness is again the watchword. P&B in Sebastopol 14.2% $39.99 at Bottle Barn Tandem Winery
