Northern Vineyards Minnesota Old Vines

It is a cold and bleak midwinter night and we are hunkered down, the fire ablaze and a Flemish version of beef stew, Carbonnade a la Flamande, in the oven. Garrison Keillor is on the radio, relaying the latest news from Lake Wobegon and a far bleaker, colder night.

To complement this evening we are  tasting the wines of Northern Vineyards Winery, where Robin Partch crafts the wines from the Minnesota Winegrowers Cooperative. Following are the notes on the Old Vines bottling.
