The Wines of Shone Farm

Shone Farm, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, Block Eight, Estate Grown, Chardonnay 2009 This is a Chardonnay that combines the green apple acidity associated with cooler climes and the buttery richness of the winemaker’s hand. Produced and bottled in Forestville 13% $28 at the Farm, a media sample.

The Shone Farm provides a hands-on opportunity for students of the Santa Rosa Junior College to work in the vineyard and the cellar. The wines are made by winemaker Chris Wills, who has a long and respected resume making wine in the North Coast. Shone Farm
