Mazzocco Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Mazzocco, Alexander Valley, Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Mazzocco Sauvignon Blanc 2009The nose is radiant with citrus. On the palate this theme continues with plenty of acidity – clean, refreshing and very nice.

The production is all in stainless. Proprietors Ken and Diane Wilson.

Winemaker Antoine Favero has a knack for capturing the freshness of the grape across the Mazzocco winemaker Antoine Faveroline of wines he makes. We had a great visit with him recently and I have to say he is one of the most relaxed and confident winemakers in what has become one of the most challenging vintages in the region.

Produced and bottled in Healdsburg (actually just west of the town of out on Lytton Springs Road) 13.9% purchased at the winery where it retails for $22 Mazzocco
