Domaine Carneros Le Reve 2004

Domaine Carneros, Carneros, Brut, Blanc de Blancs, Le Reve 2004 As in the past, the nose exhibits the sweetest of fruits and flowers. In the mouth the theme continues with ripe stone fruits, a creamy texture and a dosage that amplifies the fruitiness – always a hit.

The grapes are Chardonnay with the possibility of some Pinot Blanc and the wine was aged for 6 years, before release. Estate grown, produced and bottled in Napa 12% purchased for $60.99 at Bottle Barn.

Le Reve is a personal favorite. I’d highly recommend visiting Domaine Carneros Winery. It’s located high on a hill overlooking the Napa Valley. You can order a glass of Le Reve sitting on the patio while enjoying one of the most scenic views in the Wine Country.

Steve is right – it truly is a stunning setting, on the patio of the chateaux. Pack a fuzzy just in case as it is a windy appellation. Cheers! Ray
