Masi Amarone Costasera 2006

Masi, Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, Costasera 2006 The fruit shows both a fresh and a lightly-stewed and evolved, complex character in the nose.

In the mouth the texture is velvety, with almost a sweet appearance to the fruit. Like the previous vintage, the body has a lightness to it, giving us an elegant Amarone that is ready to drink today.

The grapes are mostly Corvina, sourced from west-facing slopes in the Classico district. They are semi-dried on traditional bamboo racks for 3-4 months. Produced & Bottled in S. Ambrogio di Valpolicella 15% purchased for $42.99 at Bottle Barn Masi
