Les Heritiers du Comte Lafon Macon 2008

Les Heritiers du Comte Lafon, Macon-Milly-Lamartine 2008

Give this wine some air to blow off a bit of sulfur. Then the nose begins to open, showing apples and stone fruits. In the mouth this wine is quite concentrated, tasting of fresh oranges and nectarines, with ample acidity and a glaze of buttery richness – delicious. This wine demonstrates again that the producer matters far more than appellation.

Produced from biodynamically grown grapes in the Macon and overseen by Dominique Lafon, star of Meursault. Mis in Milly-Lamartine 13% $26.99 at K&L Comtes Lafon
