Korbel Brut produced from organic grapes

Korbel , California Champagne, Brut, Organically Grown Grapes nv The nose features flowers and freshly sliced red and green apples. In the mouth there is a vivid sense of green apples, clean and light with a touch of creaminess. The dosage combines with the creaminess in balancing the tangy acidity – nice value.

This wine is distinguished by its sourcing of organically grown grapes and a different bottling from the Korbel Brut that is most commonly found in the market. The grapes in this case are French Colombard, Chardonnay and Sangiovese.

The first fermentation is in stainless, the second in bottle and the dosage is 1%.  P&B in Guerneville 12% purchased for $10.69 at Bottle Barn Korbel
