Ca’ del Solo Albarino 2008

Ca’ del Solo, Monterey County, Estate Vineyard, Albarino 2008 This wine features a strong signature of citrus and refreshing acidity with a little sense of alcohol as well.  The intrusion of the alcohol is disappointing given the beauty of the previous vintage. Let’s try another bottle soon and see where this stands. The grapes are grown biodynamically near the penitentiary at Soledad and the wine is bottled under screwcap. P&B in Santa Cruz 12.8% $15.99 at Bottle Barn Ca’ del Solo
