McManis Pinot Grigio 2009

McManis Family Vineyards, California, Pinot Grigio 2009 The fresh fruits leap out of the glass – pineapple, banana, orange – the best sort of cocktail. In the mouth there is a softness and roundness to this Grigio, with perhaps some sub-threshold RS adding to the impression – nice. Most of the fruit was sourced from the winery’s River Junction vineyard. The wine was fermented in stainless. The McManis property is located at the confluence of the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Rivers. P&B in Ripon 12% $7.69 at Bottle Barn McManis
