Elena Walch Pinot Grigio 2008

Elena Walch, Alto Adige, Pinot Grigio 2008 The nose features lemon and flowers with a bit of doughiness. The mouth is bright with citrus and its expected acidity, without the austerity of many Grigios from Italy. The whole palate is filled out with flavor and coupled with a touch of richness – nice.

Since that first post there has been some variation in the bottles tasted, one on Saturday where the fruitiness was rather subdued and one tonight where the richness was downright buttery, both in the nose and on the palate 4/12/10.

P&B in Termeno 13% purchased for $14.49 at Bottle Barn Elena Walch
