Corte Normanna

Corte Normanna, Sannio DOC, Falanghina 2008 There’s plenty of minerality in the nose and in the mouth it is quite dry, with the acidity to the fore and a long and ongoing sense of the minerality. The wine is all stainless. Bottled in Guardia Sanfamondi 13% $20 suggested retail.

Corte Normanna, Sannio DOC, Aglianico DOC,  2006 This is a big, structured wine, earthy, meaty, chewy and quite long. With 10 minutes in the glass the fruit is coming out, blackberries and cranberries with just a bit of rusticity – nice. With 6 hours this wine has really flowered! Bottled in Guardia Sanfamondi 13% $22 suggested retail.

The Falluto Brothers farm about 50 acres planted to grapes and olives at 800 to 1300 feet elevation. Corte Normanna
