Clif The Climber White 2008

Clif Family Winery, California, The Climber, White Wine 2008 The fruit is dazzling when you pour this in the glass. There’s lots of ripe citrus with floral and tropical notes. The focus on fruit continues on the palate, where the acidity is crisp, framing the taste of fresh orange and tangerine – very nice.

The grapes were sourced from Lake, Monterey and Mendocino Counties and include 88% Sauvignon Blanc, 4% Muscat, 3% Riesling, 3% Chardonnay and 2% Chenin Blanc. The ferment and aging is all stainless with no ML and a Stelvin top.

Yes, this is from the people that brought us the Clif Bar. V&B in St. Helena 13.4% $14 suggested retail Clif Family Winery
