Six Sigma Sauvignon 2006

Six Sigma, Lake County, Rooster Vineyard, Sauvignon Blanc 2006 This wine is amazingly fresh for an ’06 California Sauvignon. There’s plenty of citrus in the nose as well as some freshly mown grass. In the mouth, the acidity is dazzling and there is a bit of honeyed roundness – very nice. The high acidity and low pH of this wine have allowed it to develop the sort of complexity you see in Hunter Semillon. Proprietors Else and Kaj Ahlmann and Winemaker Matt Hughes. Grown by Bella Vista Farming Company; P&B by Six Sigma in Lower Lake 13.6% $20 at the winery
