Dutcher Crossing Chard 2007

Dutcher Crossing, Alexander Valley, Stuhlmuller Vineyard, Chardonnay 2007 There’s toasitness, nuttiness, fresh oak and bread dough in the nose.  The mouth features fresh apples and vibrant acidity with oaky richness as an enhancement rather than a cover over the fruit – very nice. Winemaker Danny Glover with Kerry Damskey consulting. P&B in Healdsburg 14.4% $34 at the winery Dutcher Crossing

That Chardonnay is absolutely delicious, making the review a pleasure to write. I’m looking forward to the visit and the students are quite enthusiastic about the opportunity to spend more time tasting and learning about the rest of the portfolio.

Thanks Kate. I think I’d better update my favorite list to include this too.
