Trentadue, Alexander Valley, La Storia, Estate Bottled Zinfandel 2005 The impression in the nose is of sweet fruit. The mouth is quite rich with fruit and a thickness, a sheen of sweet, jammy fruit. There is 18% Petite Sirah and 4% Carignane in the final blend and the wine was aged in both American and French barrels. Miro Tcholakov continues to hit home runs for Trentadue with their La Storia line. The wine was aged 25 mos in Fr and Eastern European oak. Winemaker Miro Tcholakov.
