Seghesio Barbera 2007

Seghesio Alexander Valley, Barbera 2007 The new vintage of this wine smells as fetching as ever, exploding with a freshness of fruit as if still in the making at the winery. There’s also a sense of the rather immense alcohol showing itself before you even put it in your mouth. On the palate there is the richness of very ripe fruit and a supple texture. Barbera’s expected acidity offers a note of balance to this hedonistically rich wine. GP&B in Healdsburg 15.3% $22.99 at Bottle Barn Seghesio
