Ogier Viognier 2006

Michel & Stéphane Ogier, Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes, Vigonier de Rosine 2006 You would swear this wine is from the New World when you stick your nose in the glass. The peachy fruit is just so vibrant. In the mouth, this wine is full-bodied and luscious, lowish in acidity and brimming with the taste of peaches. The grapes are sourced from vineyards averaging 20 years of age. 80% of the fruit is barrel fermented and 20% of the oak is new. A small portion of the wines is also aged in barrel for one month. Mis en bouteille par Ogier Pere et fils in Ampuis 12.5% $19.99 at K&L
