Domaine Anne Gros, Bourgogne, Chardonnay 2001 The last time I poured this it wasn’t a big hit but it really showed nicely. Today it’s pushing a little further over the hill with more nuttiness and volatility that will put off some. Yet I love the complexity of flavors in the mouth and the way that the mouthfeel has increased while still retaining its acidic nerve. (This has been in the store for quite some time so this will be showing in a more evolved way than that stored in cellar over the same period. So expect to see a difference between your notes and these if you’ve had good temperature control for the wine).
