Jean Reverdy Sancerre 2007

Jean Reverdy, Sancerre, La Reine Blanche 2007 Once again the smell of grass and grapefruit are in full force while the mouth follows suit with plenty of acidity and a little minerality.
My notes from the previous three vintages show this consistent thread of grapefruit and grass in a high acid frame

Produced from vines over 25 years old in the vineyard La Reine Blanche. This wine sees no oak or ML. This wine was a great value from the appellation until this vintage rocketed an additional $6 retail from just $14.99 for the previous ’06 vintage. Recolte et mis at Domaine des Villots in Verdigny 12.5% $20.99 at Bottle Barn
