Aging and complex, with a silky texture and dried fruit flavors though the alcohol is starting to dominate. 15% P&B Plymouth, rocky hillside vineyard head pruned and dry farmed planted by Sadie and John Upton in 1923, one year in neutral oak, winemaker Garth Cobb, $26 at the winery www.karlywines.com
