At the same time the texture is thick, dense like a deep down comforter.<\/p>\n<p>The Two Rock Vineyard is located on the Cotati Grade <a href=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/two_rock_vineyard_img.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[8173]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8182\" title=\"two_rock_vineyard_img\" src=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/two_rock_vineyard_img.jpg\" alt=\"Cool climate Chardonnay\" width=\"235\" height=\"294\" \/><\/a>which is regularly bathed in Pacific fog. Just 6% of the wine was fermented in new French oak barrels and put through malolactic. The rest was all stainless without ML.<\/p>\n<p>This is a stunning Chardonnay for the price, delivering the structure of Burgundy with a luxurious texture and great length.<\/p>\n<p>Today many decry California Chardonnay for its excessive ripeness and flabby expression in the mouth. This wine shows what is possible in the North Coast with the star of Burgundian white wine.<\/p>\n<p>Winemaker Gina Gallo.
