Sometimes the precision of the description of a wine is not as important as the impression of concentration and vividness. This came up again during a class in the VESTA program. What is it that you remember &#8211; is it the fact that wine smelled like boysenberries or loganberries or rather that it was just ebulliently fruity?<\/p>\n<p>But I digress. In the mouth, the fruity theme continues in a light-bodied, smooth format that is ready to consume without a month in the cellar &#8211; very nice.<\/p>\n<p>The grapes were sourced from Mendocino County and Lodi  and include 63% Zinfandel, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Syrah, 2%  Merlot and 2% Petite Sirah.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Sarah.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[8079]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-8085\" title=\"Sarah Gott\" src=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Sarah-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Winemaker at Clif\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Yes, this is another wine from Gary and Kit, the people that brought us the Clif  Bar.
