In the mouth it is light-bodied and acidic with a little bit of grip.<\/p>\n<p>Produced and bottled by Suzy and Jim Gullett  14.2% purchased for $13.69 at Bottle Barn <a title=\"Noceto\" href=\"http:\/\/www.noceto.com\/\">Noceto<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>R (Jeff Runquist), Amador County, Barbera 2009 <\/strong>The oak is quite overt, as if freshly split out in the woods. In the mouth you&#8217;ll find some of Barbera&#8217;s tanginess swathed in a big blanket of oak.<\/p>\n<p>Winemaker Jeff Runquist. Produced &amp; Bottled in Ripon 14.7%  purchased for $18.49 at Bottle Barn<a title=\"Runquist\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jeffrunquistwines.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Runquist<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Celler Mas Doix, Priorat, Salanques 2007 <\/strong>Unfortunately this wine is corked, hiding the jammy fruit that I usually associate with it.<\/p>\n<p>The grapes  behind this wine are sourced mostly from Garnacha and Carinena vines, 70  &#8220;\u201c 90 years old, with a bit of Merlot and Cabernet that was newly  planted.<\/p>\n<p>The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
