Most of the base wine underwent malolactic. 4.5% Pinot Noir gives the color, following the practice that is traditional in Champagne, where a bit of red wine creates the pink hue rather than an earlier maceration of black grapes.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first Rose that Scharffenberger has produced in over 10 years. The dosage is 10 grams per litre.
