In the mouth the fruit shows nicely, the acidity is mild and the palate is broad. It is reminiscent of a rose from the southern Rhone, like Mordoree&#8217;s Tavel &#8211; very nice.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Barrels-at-Foppiano.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[6586]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-6592\" title=\"Barrels at Foppiano\" src=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/Barrels-at-Foppiano-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"67\" height=\"67\" \/><\/a>The grapes behind this wine are 55% Petite Sirah and 45% Pinot Noir. The wine was aged in neutral French oak for 6 months. The wine is bottled under a  screwcap closure.
