The grapes are grown on fertile soils overtop granite and schist. The  wine sees no oak, only stainless and and is treated to light lees  stirring. I am also strongly suspicious that the texture goes beyond creaminess to indicate that the wine has gone through ML. I know that this sounds crazy given the tradition of the region and the standard of rapier-like acidity. Yet the winery does indicate a move toward allowing residual sugar in the final wine so ML could be another bell added to the RS whistle. Let&#8217;s find out what we can.<\/p>\n<p>Winemaker Luciano Almoedo. The winery Martin Codax is located in the Saln\u00c3\u00a9s Valley on the Mont Burgans.
