The mouth delivers the fruit with a creamy texture, a little rich without being cloying. The acidity speaks in the background, adding freshness and driving the length- very nice.<\/p>\n<p>The grapes behind this wine include 9% Viognier, an ever aromatic and able assistant. The wine was matured in older French oak barrels to add complexity rather than overt oakiness.<\/p>\n<p>Proprietor Phil Sexton. Winemakers Steve Flamsteed and Dave Mackintosh.
