In the mouth the viscosity is matched by steely acidity, combining the best of Burgundian austerity and Australian flamboyance.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been a fan of Petaluma since Brian Croser paid a visit to our class at Uni Adelaide. He truly demonstrated his point of his wines having a worthy comparison to the stars of Burgundy.<\/p>\n<p>I wrote a long piece about that experience in one of my newsletters long ago. Produced and bottled in Piccadilly, South Australia, not far from Adelaide 14.5% $29.99 at wine.com a long time ago before selling out.
