I&#8217;m a huge fan of Sangiovese but often when I introduce a classic model from Tuscany, a number of people in class will be knocked over by the acidity. This wine would be the perfect first step, showing the grape in a riper format where the acidity is an accent rather than a more overt player in taste profile.<\/p>\n<p>Revisiting this wine again in April, it&#8217;s a pleasure to taste how well the sweetness of the ripe fruit and oak have married further, adding richness.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-5251\" title=\"more than vines\" src=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/more-than-vines-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"more than vines\" width=\"72\" height=\"72\" \/>The grapes include a bit of Cabernet and Petite Sirah. The wine was aged in French oak for 12 months.
