This is a great walk down the middle of Syrah\/Shiraz paradigms. In the mouth it is soft and ripe with a nice thread of acidity making it food friendly &#8211; yes!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-5226\" title=\"the cellar door in Healesville\" src=\"https:\/\/rjwine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/the-cellar-door-in-Healesville-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"the cellar door in Healesville\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>The grapes are mostly Shiraz, at 97% with a nod to the grape made famous in Condrieu. The Viognier was co-fermented with the Shiraz grown in the Yarra Valley. 50% of the wine was produced in 1-3 year old French oak for 11 months.
