In bottle number two, the nose shines cherries, brown spices and vanilla. In the mouth it shows Sangiovese&#8217;s characteristic acidity, tart cherries, a bit of leather, concentration and polished edges &#8211; nice.<\/p>\n<p>The grapes behind this wine are 90% Sangiovese as well as Malvasia Nera, Colorino, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The yield was 45 hl\/ha and the wine was aged in 2nd and 3rd use barriques for 24 months.
